Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's (ABM) Degree Program

Competitive students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and enrolled in the undergraduate minor in biomanufacturing have the opportunity to earn a master’s degree at an accelerated pace. Graduate-level senior elective courses in the biomanufacturing curriculum (i.e., 400/500-level courses) can be counted twice to satisfy the requirements of both the bachelor's and master's degree programs.

Students who wish to complete the Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.5 and maintain it throughout their senior year. Candidates can apply to the ABM program once they have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours or a maximum of 96 credits.

The Master of Biomanufacturing has a formalized ABM program with Chemical Engineering. For more information and to see the 10 semester outline, visit the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering’s Curricula and Concentrations page.
