BTEC employee among winners of NC State College of Engineering 2023 Awards for Excellence

Ryan Barton, Ph.D., BTEC’s Manager of Bioprocess Automation, was one of four winners of the NC State College of Engineering 2023 Awards for Excellence during a ceremony held at BTEC Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Ryan was nominated in the Efficiency and Innovation category, and receives eight hours of paid time off, a $250 check and a plaque. Additionally, Ryan is now eligible for the University-wide Awards for Excellence, considered one of the most prestigious honors that can be given to a non-faculty employee.

The College’s Awards for Excellence program annually honors the accomplishments and contributions of employees who go above and beyond their required job responsibilities.
