New partner selected for game development

Published Oct. 15, 2015

BTEC has hired Kadro Solutions, Inc. to provide website support and development resources for its computer game, which simulates the commercialization of a new biological drug. The game simulator, Drug2Market™, was invented at BTEC and programmed by graduate students from NC State's Computer Science department. After those students graduated, BTEC needed to find a partner to ensure that the game continues to meet the needs of students in its university and professional development courses. In addition to taking care of any bug fixes, Kadro will assist in the development of new versions of the game that address branded, generic, and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals.
