Employer registration open for virtual career fair

Employers are invited to register to participate in BTEC's Biomanufacturing Virtual Career Fair, which will be held Friday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. The career fair offers a unique opportunity to recruit directly from BTEC's undergraduate and graduate programs in biomanufacturing, which provide students with hands-on training on industry-standard equipment.

Approximately 150–200 students are expected to attend the event. Their academic backgrounds include a variety of disciplines relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry, including genetic engineering, upstream processing, cell culture, downstream processing, AAV vector production, analytical methods, formulation, single-use technologies, cGMP, and more.

Employers may register at go.ncsu.edu/btec-career-fair. The registration fee of $150 provides access to Career Fair Plus, the virtual platform that will be used. In addition, employers are provided with access to a resume database that holds the resumes of students attending the fair.

For questions, please contact Pa Nhia Moore, BTEC's manager of student programs, at Pa_Moore@ncsu.edu.
