NC Department of Commerce holds seminar at BTEC

BTEC hosted a seminar sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Commerce on Aug. 31, 2012. The meeting, which focused on European regulations for medical devices, included representatives from several medical device companies located in North Carolina. John Loyack, director of the Commerce Department’s Global Commerce, International Trade Division, coordinated the seminar. The North Carolina Department of Commerce is the state’s leading economic development agency. Working with local, regional, national, and international companies, it is the state’s advocate for economic, community, and workforce development.
