Fall career fair numbers tell a success story

Twenty-eight companies were represented at BTEC’s virtual biomanufacturing career fair, which was held on Friday, Oct. 22 via the virtual platform Career Fair Plus. The fair is a biomanufacturing-focused career event for BTEC students and employers from all areas of the biomanufacturing industry. BTEC staff representing the center’s Master of Biomanufacturing program (BIOM), along with personnel representing the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) program, also participated in the event. A total of 166 students signed up for the fair, and employers hosted 779 individual appointments and 46 group appointments.

Another virtual career fair will be held Feb. 18, 2022.
