BTEC recognizes new graduates at May ceremony

Friends and family members were all smiles as BTEC’s class of 2018 participated in its graduation ceremony Thursday, May 10 at the facility. Two students received the Master of Science degree, while 11 others graduated with a Master of Biomanufacturing. Of these 13 graduates, eight are currently working in the biopharmaceutical industry or for related institutions. In addition to these 13 graduates, 34 others earned either an undergraduate or graduate minor or certificate.

Dr. Tim Kelly, president and CEO of KBI Biopharma, Inc., was the keynote speaker.

Graduates include the following: Master of Science – Timothy Brantley and Reenu Sanil; Master of Biomanufacturing – Jessica Clendenin, Shelby Craghead, Alex Drennan, Steven Gray, Lucas Lankford, Steven Nugent, Stephen Rozakis, Cal Stubbs, Hannah Taylor, Connor Thompson, and Ilse Zainos; Graduate certificate of Biomanufacturing – Sterling Riggs and George West.
