BTEC is offering two new professional development short courses in July: Chromatography Column Packing taught by GE Healthcare on July 16-18 and Level 1 Technical Training: Introduction to Lean Six Sigma for Biomanufacturing on July 23-25.

Chromatography Column Packing

This three-day course is designed to help overcome the challenges of column packing. It provides both hands-on packing experience and the information needed to design procedures that ensure packing is done right the first time. This course is taught by experts from GE Healthcare, one of the world’s leading suppliers of chromatography supplies and equipment for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Level 1 Technical Training: Introduction to Lean Six Sigma for Biomanufacturing

Lean and Six Sigma are two powerful management systems currently used in concert by companies worldwide both to effectively eliminate waste and reduce variation. This course introduces basic Lean Six Sigma principles with a focus on application within the pharma/biopharma industry. Fundamental LSS tools and methods are introduced through lecture and numerous classroom activities and hands-on lab experiences.
