FDA renews training contract with BTEC

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently awarded BTEC a contract to provide five additional years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing training to FDA inspectors.  Under the contract, 15 FDA pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical inspectors and field personnel will participate annually in four hybrid courses, which include both online components and intensive hands-on training. Courses offered include Upstream Bioprocessing, Downstream Bioprocessing, Quality Control/Analytical, and Fill/Finish. The original five-year training contract was issued in 2007.
