The Golden LEAF BTEC brings together faculty and staff from the North Carolina Community College System and the North Carolina State University Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture & Life Sciences. Going forward, the BTEC will serve as a focal point for intellectual talent, employing experts in research, biological sciences, process and product development and biomanufacturing, who will share their expertise and knowledge with BTEC students, both on-site and at remote locations.
In addition to current NC State faculty with biomanufacturing interests, BTEC will add faculty members from additional NC State academic departments, to pursue research in areas of relevance to biomanufacturing and to teach course modules to BTEC students.
